I hate all the shit they put in energy and protein bars. So I made my own so I knew exactly what was in it.
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 fage 0% greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup walnuts
- 1/4 cup almonds
- 1 T Flax seeds
- 1 T Chia seeds
- 2 T dried currants
- 1/2 large banana
- Spices: cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cardamom, allspice, and cloves
350 degrees for about 30 minutes. then cool, cut into 8 slices, bake again at 300-325 for about 20 minutes.
145 calories. 8 grams protein. 6 grams fat. 2.3 grams sugar
